Magnetohydrodynamics and Plasma Turbulence

We use analytical theory, numerical simulation and analysis of data from observations and laboratory experiments to understand the fundamental mechanisms that govern turbulent transport, transitional behaviour and energy transfer across scales in different regimes of plasma turbulence, from MHD to ion and electron scales.

Our work concerns fundamental turbulence theory, informed by and with relevance to applications to magnetic confinement fusion and astrophysical plasmas.
